Teaching and Research Section of Internal and Pediatric Nursing

The Teaching and Research Section of Internal and Pediatric Nursing is one of the six teaching and research sections in the School of Nursing. It has 1 director and 1 deputy director, with a faculty of nearly 10 members, among whom 4 hold senior professional titles.
The section is mainly responsible for delivering theoretical lectures on courses such as Internal Medicine Nursing and Pediatric Nursing for nursing majors of the school. It also undertakes the organization of clinical probation and subsequent clinical practice for undergraduate nursing students in the above-mentioned courses. All the courses offered have complete teaching plans, syllabuses, probation guidelines and practice guidelines that meet the teaching requirements. In strict accordance with these guidelines, the section fulfills teaching tasks, implements teaching calendars, and conducts teaching evaluation and assessment in a standardized manner. Meanwhile, it actively engages in clinical nursing work and explores research in the fields of nursing education, nursing scientific research and clinical nursing, and currently undertakes several projects at the departmental level.
Integrating teaching, scientific research and clinical practice, the Teaching and Research Section of Internal and Pediatric Nursing is committed to continuously improving teaching quality. While imparting theoretical knowledge, it emphasizes the cultivation of humanistic nursing concepts and strengthens the training of nursing students' clinical nursing skills. At the same time, the section keeps enhancing the construction of the faculty team, giving full play to the professional advantages of clinical teachers, and elevating the overall professional competence of the discipline.
