The Teaching and Research Section of Surgery and Gynecology Nursing is an excellent faculty team with rich clinical and teaching experience, equipped with abundant teaching materials, advanced teaching equipment and high-quality experimental teaching bases. In recent years, teachers of this course group have continuously explored and bravely practiced, introducing modern nursing concepts into teaching; while delivering courses, they have enabled students to have early clinical exposure.
Faculty Team: In addition to professional teachers from the college, most of the teachers in the section are clinical instructors from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University. They not only have solid theoretical knowledge, but also rich clinical nursing experience and a responsible teaching attitude, which have won consistent praise from students of all previous sessions.
Professional Leader: Professor He Chaozhu, Dean of the School of Nursing, is an Academic and Technical Leader in Jiangxi Province. She has always been rigorous in scholarship, dares to innovate, is good at seeking differences, pays attention to data accumulation, and has profound attainments in teaching, clinical nursing and scientific research.
Course Director: Lecturer Feng Qiong is dedicated to nursing teaching and scientific research work. She has obtained many provincial-level projects and has a scientific, rigorous, realistic and innovative work style.
Experimental Teaching: The section has simulated delivery rooms, simulated gynecological wards and simulated surgical wards, which are equipped with multimedia teaching facilities and automatic recording and broadcasting systems for students' skill practice and assessment.
Teaching Materials: There are more than 30 types of various teaching videos, multiple sets of multimedia teaching courseware and many video teaching materials.
Teaching and Research Achievements: In recent years, the section has been committed to teaching reform, attaching importance to the comprehensive improvement of teaching quality, introducing advanced teaching methods into teaching, and focusing on the cultivation of students' nursing knowledge and comprehensive quality. Many teachers in the section, such as He Chaozhu, Xiao Hong and Feng Qiong, have won the Excellent Course Award many times. In the past three years, they have obtained many scientific research achievement awards, multiple provincial-level projects, published many professional papers, and compiled or participated in compiling many national planning textbooks.
